Purpose

The Continental Society is an organization of descendants of Native Americans and Immigrants who participated in the early conflicts, 1607 - 1900. The scholarship is awarded annually and is based on academic achievement and commitment to the field of Education or Social Service.

Eligibility

Applicant must be an enrolled tribal member; Accepted in or attending an accredited school; Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, preferably entering or in the Junior year; Maintain a 3.0 GPA; Carry minimum of 10 quarter hours or 8 semester hours; Plan to work on a reservation in Education or Social Service.

General Information

Financial need not a requirement; award will be placed on deposit at college or university; application records will not be returned; Renewals may be requested and are accepted April 1 - June 15. Preference to applicants entering or in their Junior year.
