Purpose

Onondaga Community College Foundation’s Native American Scholarships provide merit and financial need based scholarships specifically for Native students attending OCC.

Eligibility

Registered OCC student with FAFSA on file; students without FAFSA on file can self identify with the Financial Aid Office.

General Information

OCC Financial Aid will automatically identify eligible students and consider for awards based upon current FAFSA on file and self-identification as Native American (on application and/or registration).

Allyn Multicultural Scholarship-(7) Awards of $1,000

Allyn Native Scholarship-Award Varies

Horowitch Native American Endowed Scholarship-(2) Awards of $500

Onondaga Nation Endowed Scholarship-Award Varies; for Onondaga Nation residents

SUNY/OCC Diversity Honors Scholarship-$500 (part-time) and $1,000 (full-time)

Marjorie Sexton Native American Scholarship (1) Award of $1,500.
