|
To
award grants to Native American women who are pursuing studies and who
plan to work in Education or another service field.
|
Eligibility
|
Enrolled
Native American woman from New York
State with at least one Native
American parent, attending a two or four year college in New York State; preference given to those
studying Education.

General Information
|
Grant
may be used for any career-related purpose, including purchase of
textbooks; renewable through undergraduate and graduate work. Grants
determined by availability of funds and distributed by the Awards
Committee.

Awards
|
$500
each semester; $5,000 maximum over a five year period.
|
Deadlines
|
Six
(6) weeks before the beginning of the semester.
