Purpose
|
The
Seneca Diabetes Foundation was established in the hopes that the students
who receive this scholarship will use their education and training to
benefit the Seneca people, especially in regard to the fight against
diabetes.

Eligibility
|
Enrolled
SNI member pursuing a college or university degree in health or social
services professions.
|
General Information
|
Awarding
the Geraldine Memmo Scholarship will be based primarily on the student's
financial need, but also on involvement in community and cultural
activities, with an interest in research on Seneca/Native American
history and/or heritage and a focus on improving the quality of life for
the Seneca people. Students may apply for more than one of the
scholarships available through the Seneca Diabetes Foundation.
