Purpose
|
To
financially assist deserving Native American girls in acquiring a higher
education with a view toward developing their full potential.
|
Eligibility
|
At
least 50% Native American; Female; Reside in and graduated from an
accredited high school in New York State with a B+ average; Plan to
attend or are attending a college, university, or graduate school
accredited by the NYS Department of Education.

|
Criteria
for award include general ability, character, and citizenship.
|
Awards
|
$1,000;
may vary depending upon available funds. Scholarship payment in two
installments: August 1 and January 1.

|

1, 2008 filing date for entries.
