Purpose |
To administer the Higher Education Grant Program to eligible undergraduate Indian students attending an accredited institution of higher education who are members of federally recognized Nations. |
Eligibility |
Enrolled member federally recognized Tonawanda Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Tuscarora Nations; Accepted in an accredited institution of higher education; Have financial need as determined by the institution's financial aid office. |
General Information |
Seneca Nation of Indians and St. Regis Mohawks and Oneida administer BIA funds through respective Higher Education Programs - see pages 3 and 5 for information - however, a smaller award is available for these members. |
