Purpose

Onondaga Community College Foundation's Native American Scholarships provide merit and financial need based scholarships specifically for Native students attending OCC.

Eligibility

Registered OCC student with SUNY application and FAFSA on file noting Native American ethnicity.  Candidates without FAFSA on file can self identify with the Financial Aid Office at 315.498.2291

General Information

OCC Financial Aid will automatically identify eligible students and consider for awards based upon current FAFSA on file and/or self-identification as Native American.  Native students will also be considered for other scholarships administered through the OCC Foundation.

Allyn Native Scholarship-Award Varies

Rosamond Gifford Endowed Scholarship - (10) Awards of $1,000

Gifford Emergency Jump Start Awards - Award Varies

Marjorie Sexton Native American Scholarship (1) Award of $1,500.

Onondaga Nation Endowed Scholarship - Award Varies
