Purpose |
To enable eligible Mohawk students to attend accredited institutions of higher education in two and four-year college degree programs by providing supplemental financial aid. |
Eligibility |
Members of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe; full-time students (12 credit minimum) with a definite unmet financial need. Continued eligibility depends on satisfactory progress toward degree requirements. Minimum Freshman GPA is 2.0; others must maintain 2.5 minimum. |
General Information |
Established Funding Priorities: 1) Enrolled, living on reservation 2) Enrolled, living near reservation 3) 1/4 degree descendent of enrolled member. Note: Office administers BIA Higher Education Grant Funds. |

Certification from Tribal Clerk; Signed Privacy Act Statement; College Acceptance Letter; Financial Aid Recommendation completed by College Financial Aid Officer; Transcript. |
