Eligibility

Native American students, 16-18 years of age, who are planning to enter a health career; Minimum 2.5 G.P.A.

Information

NNAYI is designed to prepare AI/AN high school students for admission to college and professional school and to encourage them to pursue a career in the areas of health science and biomedical research. Curriculum is presented in a series of lectures, interactive workshops, and field trips. Students will learn about various health professions, college and medical school admission process, financial aid resources, and health care issues affecting AI/AN communities.
