Availability

Four summer research fellowships awarded annually. 8 weeks; 35 hrs/week.

Eligibility

American citizens and lawful permanent residents, including Native Americans. Must be a sophomore or junior status at application time.

Information

ABF is an independent nonprofit research institute dedicated to the study of law, legal institutions, and legal processes; it conducts empirically based research on a broad range of civil and criminal justice issues. Students will assist a Research Fellow/Mentor in design and conduct of research and also take part in field visits to various legal institutions.

Benefits/Award

$3,600 Stipend; Seminars and Field Visits.
