Availability

Ten Weeks. Program usually begins in late May/early June and ends early August.

Eligibility

AISES Member; Minimum 3.0 GPA; Full time student pursuing a degree in a college or university; Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate student on June 1, 2008; U.S. citizen.

Information

Program provides an opportunity to explore federal service careers in various agencies, including Central Intelligence Agency, Departments of State, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center,Commerce, Dept. of Veteran's Affairs, and the Center for Disease Control. Student must work exclusively for the agency assigned, provide a comprehensive program assessment upon completion, and agree to abide by AISES Code of Ethics and program policies. Application may be downloaded from website.

Benefits/Award

Travel to/from internship site; Weekly Stipend; Dormitory Lodging; Local Transportation Allowance; Learning experience results in development of skills, knowledge and understanding of agency operations.

January 31, 2008      for all other agencies
