Eligibility

American Indian and Alaska Native; Enrolled in a college or university as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate student; In good academic standing.

Information

WINS has four components - Academic Course Work, Research, Government Agency Internship, and Cultural/Social Activities - each interwoven to emphasize traditional Native practices and values. All fees and costs paid through the internship sponsor and American University. Apply on-line or call for informational packet. Applications are processed as received.
