Availability

Fellowship supports a one-year residency at Dartmouth College, September 1 - August 31 for scholars who are expected to complete the dissertation during the fellowship; must have completed all other to Ph.D. requirements.

Eligibility

U.S. Citizens of Native American descent planning careers in college or university teaching; taking the Ph.D. in any area or discipline taught in the undergraduate Arts and Sciences curriculum at Dartmouth.

Information

Goals are (1) to support scholars in completing the final academic requirement, the dissertation; and (2) to provide role models for potential graduate students among undergraduates at Dartmouth College. Will be affiliated with a department or program at the College.

Benefits/Award

Completion of dissertation; Access to library, computing facilities, faculty of Dartmouth College; participation in classroom activities with scholars dedicated to undergraduate teaching. $25,000 stipend: office space; $2,500 research assistance fund: opportunity to participate in teaching.
