Negotiated with Institute; Terms may be Summer (2-3 months) or up to one (1) year.

Eligibility

Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. Indigenous students, other minorities and women are encouraged to apply.

Information

The Institute is a non-profit corporation established to assist Indian tribes and other indigenous peoples in the sustainable utilization, management, development and conservation of their natural resources and protection of their environment, and related human resource development issues. We define "natural resources" broadly to include, for example, the genetic resources of tribes and natural resources which are culturally significant.
