Eligibility

Enrolled members of federally recognized tribes of the northeastern region that are members of the NAFWS; high school students (entering freshmen - seniors.)

Information

Hosted and planned by Northeast Region Tribe to be determined. Curriculum and activities reflect the host tribe's environment, i.e. wildlife/fisheries management; river processes. Purpose is to share Native knowledge of natural resource management, develop the potential of Native students to become professional natural resource managers and, above all, to have fun.

Benefits/Award

Room and board; Assistance with travel pending availability of funds.
