Availability

40 – 50 Fellows selected annually.  Fourteen month program runs June 2008-August 2009.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3-5 years Administrative or Managerial experience; meet Baruch College Admission Requirements; self-disciplined; interpersonal and problem solving skills; high standards of integrity and work ethic; US citizen

Information

Academic coursework throughout the fellowship includes two full summers in New York City.  Nine-month mentorship assignment with an executive or manager of an urban or government organization in a major US city.  Employment not permitted during fellowship.

Benefits/Award

$25,000 stipend; health insurance; full payment of tuition; book allowance; travel and moving expenses related to program activities; master’s degree in Public Administration awarded upon satisfactory completion of academic/program requirements.
