Eligibility

Established for an artist who wishes to cultivate new knowledge and skills, to improve existing abilities, and excel in creative expression.

Information

Established in 2001, Its mission is to advance contemporary Native arts by encouraging distinctive visual, written, or performing arts. Stimulating academic interaction between artists and scholars on the campus allows for dialogue, sharing ideas, and an opportunity to inspire visual creations.

Benefits/Award

Financial support; Residence and Studio for the duration of the fellowship; Public reception and exhibition of work; Artwork created during project will be added to the School's collection.

Deadline

May 1.

Complete Application Packet, including details about work, background training, and a well-developed proposal for a project to complete during the fellowship.
