One artist annually. |
Eligibility |
Professional and/or working artists; Must be recognized by their community, have at least 10 years of experience, and reflect artistic accomplishments. Individuals enrolled in a degree program are not eligible. |
Information |
Provides Native artists (Visual, Literature, Performance, Media) the opportunity to explore and propose research of collections of local (within 100 miles of their home) museums or cultural centers. Must give a presentation and submit evaluation within two weeks of completing project. Past program participants' work can be viewed at www.AmericanIndian.si.edu. Application available on website. |
