Summer, Fall, Winter/Spring Programs.

Eligibility

Native students/scholars affiliated with a Native American community or tribe; Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Information

Interns pursue directed-research projects, visit the Institution, and utilize its Native American-related resources, with supervision by Smithsonian staff members. Application available on website.

Benefits/Award

$500 per week for 10 weeks periods, Travel Allowance.

Deadline

February 1     for Summer (to begin after June 1)
February 1     for Fall (to begin after Oct 1)
October 1      for Winter/Spring (to begin after Feb 1)
