Information

The Institute's Native American initiative is committed to providing support for the Native voice and dedicates its core functions to outreach and to scouting for indigenous artists to participate in the Labs of Institute Programs: Feature Film (operates Screenwriters and Director Labs), Documentary Film, Theatre, Film Music, and Arts Writing.

Benefits/Award

The Feature Film Program is designed to offer emerging screenwriters and directors the opportunity to develop new work and offer a uniquely creative environment under the concentrated guidance of veteran filmmakers.

May 1, 2008 for Feature Film Program (Screenwriters & Directors Labs). Additional program deadlines TBA - check website.

Required Documentation

Application requirements within each program will be posted on website when available. When applying to a specific lab or program, send a copy of your application packet to the Native American Program by mail or e-mail.
