Availability

May 2 – August 1, 2008. 10-week program.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students from an underrepresented group (first generation college student, economically disadvantaged, or ethnic identity) who are interested in a science career. Must have minimum overall GPA of 2.9 and science GPA of 3.0.

Information

Program consists of a Research Project in one of several laboratories in the Department of Pharmacology; students will attend weekly seminars and present their research results at end of program.

Benefits/Award

$3,200 stipend for 10 weeks of Research; Travel reimbursement (up to $300); Assistance in securing housing.
