Number and area vary depending upon attrition in the BIA.

Eligibility

An American Indian accepted into or enrolled in a Natural Resources Program in an accredited college or university; Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree; Interest in a career working with Indian Tribes, the BIA, or Natural Resources Agencies.  Preference is given to sophomores and juniors, but all students who meet basic qualifications will be considered.

Information

NCCE provides an opportunity to combine school and work, a rewarding combination that meets students' needs and fills anticipated vacancies in the Natural Resources area within the BIA - may include forestry, wildlife/range management, GIS, etc.
