Administered to students on either the SUNY Fredonia or the SUNY Potsdam campus; number and amounts of award may vary.

Eligibility

Students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, including Native Americans, accepted to full-time graduate or professional degree study at either SUNY Fredonia or SUNY Potsdam may be eligible.

Information

To recruit, enroll, and retain students who have been historically underrepresented in SUNY's graduate and professional programs. Fields leading to the master's or doctorate degree are covered by the fellowship. Each campus designates a liaison; a listing is provided by SUNY upon request. Application information can be requested from participating campuses.

Benefits/Award

Awards range from $7,500 - $10,000 plus a graduate tuition scholarship granted annually to new students. (Individual awards may vary.)
