Benefit concert to be held for 8-month-old Eleanor Seigel Oct. 22
Sunday, October 21, 2012

The School of Music and members of its Clarinet Studio will hold a benefit concert for Eleanor Seigel on Monday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. in Rosch Recital Hall. Eleanor, the 8-month-old daughter of clarinet professor Andrew Seigel and flutist Nicole McPherson, was recently diagnosed with Infant Leukemia.
To show support for the family and provide financial assistance for the immense and ongoing medical costs associated with her treatment and care, students and faculty will come together for an evening of music in honor of young Eleanor.
Although there is no cost for admission, donations will be accepted throughout the evening. To learn more about Eleanor’s battle against leukemia or to lend your support online, please visit and type “Seigel” into the search cue.
