Western New York Chamber Orchestra opens season with Mozart-themed program

The Western New York Chamber Orchestra will open its 2014-15 Classics Series with a Mozart-themed program on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. in King Concert Hall.

“All Amadeus” features three pieces from Mozart – “Regina Coeli” K. 108 and K. 127 with the Fredonia Chamber Choir and featuring Fredonia alumna and soprano Laura Noack; the Piano Concerto in A major K.414 with pianist Dr. Dmitri Nogordovsky of the School of Music faculty, and the Symphony No. 20 in D major K.133.

The orchestra is under the direction of Conductor Glen Cortese, who is beginning his 10th year as conductor.
