Early interest strong in upcoming Graduate School Fair

More than 60 graduate and professional programs – representing a variety of industries and disciplines spanning business, education, health/medicine, humanities and science – have already registered to participate in Fredonia’s Graduate School Fair to be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 4 to 6 p.m., at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

A series of individual workshops devoted to specific grad school topics will also be part of the fair, now in its sixth year. Topics and their presenters include:

  • Applying to Graduate School, Career Development Office (CDO), Monday, Oct. 13, 4 p.m., at the CDO; second floor, Gregory Hall;
  • Financial Aid for Graduate School, Financial Aid Office, Thursday, Oct. 16, 3 p.m.; Williams Center Room S204-D;
  • Fredonia Graduate School Application Process, Office of Graduate Studies, Thursday, Oct. 16, 5 p.m.; Williams Center Room S204-D;
  • Medical and Health Professions Graduate Applications, Thursday, Oct. 16, 6:30 p.m.; Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Williams Center Room S-204-E.

  • SUNY Albany Rockefeller School of Public Policy, Thursday, October 16, 6:30 pm, Williams Center G-103A; Careers in public affairs and policy will be discussed, with details about the new BA/MPA joint program.

Members of Tau Sigma, the national honor society for transfer students, will serve as volunteers at the fair. An updated list of grad school fair participants can be found at www.fredonia.edu/cdo/gradschoolfair.
