Huang to present paper at Academy of Management meeting

Dr. Lei Huang

Dr. Lei Huang from the Department of Business Administration has been invited to present his paper, “Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Sustainability: A Relational View of Structure to Outcomes,” at the 76th annual meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM).

Considered one of the most prestigious academic conferences in the world, Dr. Huang is believed to be the first faculty member from Fredonia invited to be a presenter. The conference is slated for Aug. 5 through 9 in Anaheim, Calif.

His paper explores how organizations leverage multi-stakeholder partnerships to secure value while working toward specific goals for the community along with maintaining internal sustainability. By surveying community partners in multi-stakeholder partnerships throughout North America, Asia, and Africa, Dr. Huang’s study aims to identify the relationship between individual implementation structure and four types of partner capital.

The research study is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
