The lists of dives submitted by two Fredonia divers will be the most difficult in their respective events Friday at the NCAA Division III Region 4 meet.

The 11-dive 3-meter list submitted by senior Meghan Bartlett (Johnstown, N.Y.) has a 25.00 total degree of difficulty, the highest total among the 27 women entered. Fellow senior Sam Kowalewski (Cowlesville) has entered a list with a 24.50 degree of difficulty, higher than 21 others in the event.

In the men's 1-meter, Fredonia senior Arron Carlson (LeRoy) has submitted a list with a total event-high 26.30 degree of difficulty. His teammates, senior Jake Storms (Fredonia) and freshman Christian Krasnek (Springville), list dives of 23.10 and 22.70, respectively.

Friday's competition begin at 3 p.m. at Ithaca College. The meet resumes at noon Saturday with the men's 3-meter and the women's 1-meter.

The Blue Devils are taking lesser chances, comparatively, on Saturday. Carlson's 3-meter list is tied for third toughest. Bartlett's 1-meter list is tied for seventh most difficult in the field.

The regional champs are assured a spot in the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving championship meet. In addition, a select number of other divers in each region will be invited to nationals.

Fredonia has had at least one diver on the national deck the past 12 seasons with Bartlett and Carlson each earning spots in 2015 and 2016. Each earned a national runner-up in the 1-meter last year.

This year's NCAA meet is March 15 to March 19 in Shenandoah, Texas.
