Ski and Ride Club gearing up for the season

Veteran skiers and snowboarders, or those who would like learn how to master snow-covered slopes this winter, are invited to sign up for discounted packages at Holiday Valley, located in Ellicottville, through the Fredonia Ski and Ride Club.

A Sunday night pass for a lift ticket, good from 2:30 to 10 p.m. throughout the season that Holiday Valley is open, is available for $163. The pass also includes eight lessons, plus a bonus pass that can be used any day in March or April, and could encompass 16 or more Sunday nights.

Purchases can be made online. Club Name: MW FRED; Password: FREDONIA. Purchases can also be made at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center. Prices on many of the passes increase after Nov. 1.

Fredonia employees, as well as full-time students at Jamestown Community College and Fredonia High School, which do not have Holiday Valley Ski Clubs, may also enroll in the student season pass program through the Fredonia club.
