‘Piano Day’ to offer introductory lessons to benefit Fredonia Student Keyboard Association
Tuesday, May 30, 2017

The School of Music’s inaugural Piano Day, a unique opportunity to start to learn how to play the piano and help fund activities sponsored by the Fredonia Student Keyboard Association, will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12, in Mason Hall.

Piano Area faculty and students will conduct introductory lessons for aspiring musicians who want to take their first step towards mastering the keyboard. Lessons lasting 30 minutes can be purchased for $15.

All proceeds will help fund Fredonia Student Keyboard Association activities.

Lessons may be of interest to beginners, a child age 6 years and up, those who have forgotten what they learned about piano playing, singers who want someone to read music with them and composers seeking tips or ideas and for someone to play their piece.

Time slots are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to register is Sunday, Nov. 5. Reservations can be placed online.
