Food pantry set up to benefit students

A food pantry has been established by the Student Health Center, Counseling Center and Office of Campus Life to assist students when food becomes scarce. “We have seen an overwhelming response with our previous food pantries, with over 2,500 food items being given out to students,” reported Debbie Dibble, Student Health Center director.

The food pantry is open weekly on Tuesdays, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Information Desk in the Williams Center.

Donations of non-perishable foods for the food pantry are being accepted on a regular basis. Food donations can be dropped off at the Campus Life Office in the Williams Center Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A list of recommended donations and community food pantry locations are on the food pantry website.
