Students conduct Relay for Life on campus

A walk to benefit the American Cancer Society will be hosted at Fredonia on Saturday, April 21, beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until Sunday, April 22 at 4 a.m., in Steele Hall.

Relay for Life offers everyone in the community, as well as students, faculty and staff, an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.

Teams or individual students can sign up online to participate. The current registration fee is $15. The week of the relay (April 8 to 14) registration will be $5, and will increase to $20 the day of the event.

Organizations involved are Colleges Against Cancer in coordination with the Office of Volunteer and Community Services.

For questions about the event, contact Taylor Chwalinski, chair of Relay for Life by email.
