Welcome to Fredonia!
Orientation, advising, and registration for all new students will take place on Friday, January 24, 2014.
Please take a look at the Arrival Instructions and Advising/Registration Checklist links on the right hand side of this page. These two items will answer a number of your questions and help prepare you for a successful start at Fredonia this spring. A complete Opening Weekend Schedule of Events is now posted. Please keep in mind this schedule is subject to change, so make sure to check it often!
Make sure to keep an eye on your mailboxes! We will be sending you a postcard about arrival information to your home beginning the second week of January and forwarding emails with important details about your class schedule and new student opportunities!

Volunteer Opportunities Available for New Students on Saturday, January 25th!
Any new student interested in connecting with the local community is welcome to participate in one of following service projects during opening weekend:
Chautauqua County Rural Ministry
127 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY
10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
Project: Prepare, serve a meal and clean-up. Clean-up requires washing and putting away dishes, mopping, and sweeping.
134 Temple St., Fredonia, NY
Project: Provide social and recreational activities for seniors.
1:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m. BINGO
2:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Board Games
Chautauqua County Home

Project: Provide social and recreation activities for seniors.
10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Word Games/Trivia
2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m. Coffee Hour/ Movies
Habitat for Humanity, North County
24 Knight St., Silver Creek, NY
8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
Project: Construction on new build. Work to be done is dependent on weather and current progress. Hard hats, goggles, and gloves available on site. Volunteers should wear boots (no sneakers).
