RSVP to attend New Student Orientation
New students will be able to register for a summer orientation session through the Your Connection link starting April 15, 2015.

Log into Your Connection
Find your e-services log-in information  in Your Connection so you can access your Fredonia email and
Complete the Course Survey information.

STEP #4  
Complete your Health Information for Incoming Students
This must be done before you can go to classes!

Residence Life Information
Complete your housing application if you plan on living on campus.
Roommate matching takes place May 1- June 26, 2015

Fredonia offers many New Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration programs for first-year students and transfers. 

Program highlights include:

  • Academic Advising and Registration
  • FREDCard Processing (Photo ID and Meal Plan)
  • Campus Information (Residence Life, Student Activities, Career Development, Financial Aid, Student Accounts (billing), Vehicle Registration, Health Center, and Counseling Center)
  • Connecting with other new students


Summer Orientation Programs

Fredonia's Summer New Student Orientation Programs are now complete.  We had an exciting season with more than 1000 first-year and transfer students in attendance!  Students who attended have fulfilled their orientation obligation and need NOT attend the fall orientation on August 21, 2015.  
Please be aware that your semester e-bill (due August 15) will reflect an orientation fee for the student program you participated in.  Please see the special note below for more details.  ($80 for Transfer -1 day program and $150 for first-year - 2 day program.)

Fall Orientation Program

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Any new undergraduate student who has paid their deposit and was unable to attend a summer orientation program, may register for the fall orientation program by clicking on the registration link above.

(If you are a new international student, please refer click here to register for your orientation program.  If you are a new graduate student, please contact the Graduate Office at 716-673-3808 for details about your orientation.)

Here are things you should be doing prior to the fall orientation program:
Log into Your Connection.
​Enter your ​User Name:  Your F​redonia ID​ ​Enter your​ 
Password:  Your date of birth mmddyy (if this is your first time logging in)
The system will walk you through a process to change your password and protect your account.

W​hile in Your Connection, review your preliminary course schedule​
Click the Student Tab
Click Registration
Click Concise Course Schedule Detail

Check your FREDMail ( Fredonia email)
​To begin, find your e-services user name and password in Your Connection 
Click the Personal Information Tab 
Click View Your User ID and Password 
Your username and password will be listed under the Student IDs and Passwords section
Go to the FREDMail link (the little envelope icon at the top of  the Fredonia home page:
Enter your eservices Username and Password  

If you have difficulty with your eServices username and password:
Follow the instructions above but, after you click on “View your User IDs and Passwords” under the Student IDs and Passwords section
Click on “To Reset your Passwords”
Click Next and follow directions then try logging into email at (click on envelope icon in top right side of page)

Please be aware there will be a one-time, non-refundable orientation fee charged to all new undergraduate students (first-year or transfer).  This fee is reflected on the semester bill.  Students are assessed this fee even if they do not to attend orientation in person.
