BEFORE YOU COME TO ORIENTATION

STEP #1
Pay your deposit
Please note: Once you make your deposit it will take 24 hours before the Your Connection link will be ready

STEP #2
RSVP to attend New Student Orientation
New students will be able to register for the spring orientation in December

STEP #3
Log into Your Connection
Find your e-services log-in information  in Your Connection so you can access your Fredonia email and
Complete the Course Survey information.

STEP #4  
Complete your Health Information for Incoming Students
This must be done before you can go to classes!

STEP #5
Residence Life Information
Complete your housing application if you plan on living on campus.

2016 NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMS

Fredonia offers many New Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration programs for first-year students and transfers.

Spring New Student Orientation Program

TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2016

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE!

Please be aware that orientation is a mandatory program at Fredonia for all new first-year and transfer students.  There will be a one-time, non-refundable orientation fee ($80) charged to all new undergraduate students (first-year or transfer).  This fee is reflected on the semester bill.  Students are assessed this fee even if they do not to attend orientation in person. 
All entering undergraduate students will receive an email January 9, 2016 confirming their orientation attendance and explaining campus arrival instructions.  Should you have any questions, please contact the First-Year and Transition Program Office at (716) 673-3271 or by email to orientation@fredonia.edu.

(If you are a new graduate student, please contact the Graduate Office at 716-673-3808 for details about your orientation.)

Once you have paid your deposit, here are things you should be doing at least one week prior to the spring orientation program:

Log into Your Connection.
​Enter your ​User Name:  Your F​redonia ID​ ​Enter your​ 
Password:  Your date of birth mmddyy (if this is your first time logging in)
The system will walk you through a process to change your password and protect your account.

W​hile in Your Connection, review your preliminary course schedule​
Click the Student Tab
Click Registration
Click Concise Course Schedule Detail

Check your FREDMail ( Fredonia email)
​To begin, find your e-services user name and password in Your Connection 
Click the Personal Information Tab 
Click View Your User ID and Password 
Your username and password will be listed under the Student IDs and Passwords section
Go to the FREDMail link (the little envelope icon at the top of  the Fredonia home page: www.fredonia.edu
Enter your eservices Username and Password  

If you have difficulty with your eServices username and password:
Follow the instructions above but, after you click on “View your User IDs and Passwords” under the Student IDs and Passwords section
Click on “To Reset your Passwords”
Click Next and follow directions then try logging into email at www.fredonia.edu (click on envelope icon in top right side of page)
