Student Research and Creativity Exposition

Proposals are invited for the Tenth Annual Student Research and Creativity Exposition. This event will occur on Thursday, April 24, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Williams Center. Projects can be by individuals or teams of students and must be mentored by a Fredonia faculty member. It is acceptable for the work to have been presented at other venues or for it to be a work in progress.
Examples of proposals are (but not limited to):
- Poster presentations
- Live performances (music, dance, theatre, etc.)
- Oral presentations (papers, PowerPoint, creative writing, etc.)
- Computer presentations
- Sculptures, paintings, etc.
- Music Compositions
- Multimedia Presentations
- Video (films, documentaries, etc.)

Applications are available on the web at

must be submitted electronically by Thursday, March 20, 2008, to Ms.
Tracy Benkelman, Exposition Coordinator. Notification of acceptance
will be e-mailed to the authors and mentor shortly thereafter. A
faculty planning committee has been convened and is charged with the
evaluation of the proposals.
The following guidelines apply to the Student Research and Creativity Exposition:
- The work must be by student(s) enrolled at SUNY Fredonia.
- The project must be mentored and endorsed by a member of the SUNY Fredonia faculty.
- Students with accepted proposals will have the option of having their work appear on the home page or in a publication of the Office of Student Creative Activity and Research at a later date.
