Scholar Universe: Find Scholarly Experts on Any Topic

Scholar Universe is a companion database to Pivot, providing more extensive access to information on scholarly experts.  It is a multinational, global database of 1.5 million profiles of authors, researchers and other scholars that is searched by corporations, government agencies, academic institutions and individuals around the world.

 Your Scholar Profile 

All SUNY Fredonia faculty have been set up with a pre-populated profile of information, accessible through the Pivot and Scholar Universe databases. In order to ensure that the information provided in your profile is correct, you will need to claim and update your profile information. 

To access your profile, visit: http://pivot.cos.com/

1. Sign up for an account

2. Claim your profile

Once you have claimed your profile, updating your profile info is easy:

pivot profile

Note: Updates take up to one week to complete. Once you have updated your personal information in Pivot, the changes will also be reflected in your Scholar Universe profile.
