Campaign Summary:
- The campaign was started in an effort to provide relief to victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami that wreaked havoc on communities throughout Asia Dec. 26, 2004.
- Funds were requested throughout the campus community to raise at least $5,000 by Valentine's Day to send to the California-based "Room to Read", which builds schools and libraries for children in Asia.
- Room to Read is a trusted and award-winning non-profit organization which has been dedicated to building and supplying schools and libraries in Asia since 1999," University President Dennis L.
