| Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break Charter Information
Each year, the University charters a bus over the Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks. This bus travels along the Southern Tier Expressway and serves Binghamton, Middletown, Tarrytown, New York City, and Huntington/Melville Long Island. The schedule is as follows: Thanksgiving dates: Leaves 11/16/12, Returns 11/25/12 (on sale 10/16/12) Winter dates: Leaves 12/21/12, Returns 01/27/13 (on sale 11/26/12) Spring dates: Leaves 03/22/13, Returns *04/01/13 (on sale 02/22/13) (*Please note, this bus returns on MONDAY, April 1. This is a campus travel day and there are no classes scheduled). CHARTER BUSES LEAVE CAMPUS @ 5 pm sharp! CHARTER BUSES ARRIVE BACK ON CAMPUS AT APPROXIMATELY 7 pm. Important Charter Bus Information: Passengers are allowed 2 carry-on bags ONLY. Before the bus departs, each passenger will be given the cell phone number of a "bus monitor" (a fellow student passenger who is responsible for checking all other passengers onto the bus). The monitor will act as a contact for students should they need to call the bus once they deboard, or when they are waiting for the bus to arrive on the return trip. Remember that all times listed below are approximate and will be dependent on weather, traffic and fuel or meal stops. The bus is equipped with a television, VCR or DVD player and a restroom. Refunds are allowed up until 7 days prior to departure, however, NO REFUNDS will be allowed once the bus has SOLD OUT. Unused tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
