  • Applications are due May 1 in the Veterans Affairs Office, 151 Nixon Hall, SUNY Fredonia.
  • Scholarship recipients will be announced each fall by the Veterans Affairs Scholarship Committee.
  • The Scholarship will be presented during the Veteran's Day Ceremony on campus each fall.

year's recipient
of the Veterans Scholarship is Daniel E. Morton, a former U.S. Marine who received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained from an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) while serving in Iraq. He hails from Ashville, N.Y., and is a senior Adolescence Education-Social Studies major.

Apply for a Scholarship

The next scholarship will be given for the Fall 2011 semester. Applications for the scholarship are due May 1 in the Veterans Affairs Office. 


 

Give to the Scholarship Fund

  • The SUNY Fredonia Veterans Scholarship Fund will provide financial support to academically meritorious students receiving veterans-related entitlements.
  • This Scholarship will celebrate excellence of our students and the freedoms secured through sacrifices and patriotism of our veterans.
  • We are committed to building this endowment to the $10,000 level. We are not yet half-way. Please give to the fund! See button at right.

Veterans Honor Roll

  • With each gift of $50 to the SUNY Fredonia Veterans Scholarship Fund, you can submit the name and tour of service of one U.S. veteran to be placed on the SUNY Fredonia Veterans Honor Roll. View the Honor Roll>>
