March Madness 2009
March Madness 2009 took place on Saturday, April 4th. For a $1 admission donation to the local Boys and Girls Club, students were provided with nearly eight hours of food, games, prizes and, of course, coverage of the NCAA’s Final Four. Competitions this year included Three-On-Three, Three-Point Shot, and Free Throw with prizes like food, gift cards, and sports equipment, most of which was generously donated by local businesses. Students also had the option of playing NCAA Basketball 2009 on PS2 and watching the finals on projection screen. This year’s coordinators, Erin Ackerman and Matthew Samuelson, would like to thank local businesses, ADEPT, Residence Hall Association, and all of the student volunteers and participants that made March Madness 2009 such a huge success!
