On Saturday April 5th, the residents of SUNY Fredonia gathered at Dod's hall for a day of basketball fun known as the March Madness program. Admission to the event for participants and spectators was $1 which went to the local Boy's and Girl's Club. A 3 on 3 tournament, 3 point shot contest and free throw contest were conducted in one half of the gym while the other half of the gym had a projection screen showing the final four games on one side and a NCAA March Madness video game tournament on the other. Another feature throughout the day were the prizes and refreshments that were so generously donated from businesses throughout the local community.
