SUNY Fredonia Pep Band
Welcome to the home of the SUNY Fredonia Pep band. We are a student run group that plays at hockey and basketball games as well as homecoming and other select events. There are no auditions and any SUNY Fredonia student may be a member of the band. If you have any questions or are interested in joining the band e-mail fredoniastatepepband@yahoo.com
Just to answer a few common questions:
- We have a small amount of brass instruments available for use during the year
- We are in no way associated with the School of Music (Mason Hall).
- We encourage both music majors and non majors to join the band.
- We play at all home hockey games(when school is in session) And we travel to several away games every year. Last year we went to Oswego, Cortland, Geneseo and Brockport during the regular season. We also went to Oswego for the SUNYAC Semi-Finals and Plattsburgh for the SUNYAC Finals.
