Questions & Answers
Who are we?
We are the Kappa Chapter of Sigma Gamma Phi, Arethusa Sorority.
What is Arethusa?
Arethusa is our original name, our greek letters were adopted at a later time.
What are we all about?
We are the women of our future. We live by our six ideals: Sisterhood, Loyalty, Unity, Graciousness, Dignity and Wisdom.
Do we ever give back to the community?
Of course! For the past two years Arethusa has volunteered for Miracle on Main Street, a local holiday craft fair for children. We fundraise year round for our philanthropies: Breast Cancer and March of Dimes, as well as Relay for Life and Buffalo News Kids Day. Along with fundraising we also participate in the walks for Breast Cancer and March of Dimes every year.
