| I have had an interest in trains since my youth and model building has kept my hands busy all of my life. I have spent much of my spare time creating a miniature railroad that I wish to share with you on this web page. This miniature world represents a moment in the Fall of 190l, when an imaginary, three-foot gauge railroad served an important function in transporting coal and precious metals. The Jewel River Railroad had built a branch line up North Creek where an important new source of gold ore had been found. I am modeling this whole branch line, from Harrington Junction on the main line up through the towns of Ridgeback and Red Rock to the end of line at Gold Creek.
