COME SING WITH THE BEST!

The Summer Choral Music Program at Fredonia

ON HIATUS FOR SUMMER 2007

This summer, come sing with the best at the Fredonia Summer Choral Music Program, sponsored by the School of Music at SUNY Fredonia. Directed by Dr. Donald P. Lang, conductor of the Fredonia Chamber Singers and Director of Choral Activities at SUNY Fredonia, the Summer Choral Music Program staff will include the choral directors of some of the finest school choral programs in New York state. Throughout the year, our faculty has included outstanding music educators like Jack Sternisha (Fredonia Central Schools), Nancy Krestic (Silver Creek), John Babcock (Mt. Sinai), Norman Zogaib (Hamburg), Ann Beaucage (Palmyra-Macedon) and Ann Mosner (Maryvale).

Open to students in grades nine to twelve (completed eighth grade this year), the Summer Choral Music Program will offer instruction in music theory at all levels, voice class, one-on-a-part ensemble singing, and chorus. Relaxation techniques for musicians and recreational activities will also be available to Summer choral Music Program participants.
