What to Bring

counselors What to Bring

Students are encouraged to bring an alarm clock, radio, fan, swimsuit, sunscreen and sun hat, extra towels and washcloths, tennis rackets and appropriate footwear, rain gear, and spending money. Don't forget your instrument (have it checked over by a good repair person before you come). Also bring tuners and metronomes if you have them, plenty of extra reeds and (for double reed players) reed-making materials if you have them, folding music stand, and solos or etudes for practice and private lessons. Bring a padlock, so you can use one of the lockers in Mason hall to store your instrument and avoid carrying it back and forth to the dorms. Bring the piano part for any solo you are planning to perform.

Concert Attire

For the final concert on Saturday, bring clothing that is somewhat less casual than daily camp wear. For girls, a dress or blouse and skirt; for boys, long pants and a shirt with collar (tie optional).
