Housing & Meals
Housing
Students will be housed in a campus residence hall, with resident counselors. Each double occupancy dorm room contains two standard size twin beds, two dressers, two desks, a large mirror and closet. Bed linens are provided. The residence hall has a recreation room, kitchenette, coin-operated laundry facilities and vending machines for snacks. Please indicate on the Application Form if you wish to share your room with a specific roommate, because last minute requests cannot be honored.
Other Important Information
* Bulletin Board: There will be a bulletin board in Mason Hall near the main office, and in the dorm that are devoted to camp information. Please check them frequently.
* Laundry: the dorms have washers and dryers in the basement. However, each individual must supply their own detergents, etc. The machines cost at least $0.75 to operate. You may use quarters only. There are change machines in Cranston and Gregory Hall.
* Vending Machines are available in the dorm and the Williams Center.
* Mail can be sent to: Your Name, c/o The Fredonia Woodwind Quintet Camp, School of Music, SUNY Fredonia, Fredonia, NY 14063
* Pay Phones are located in the lobby of the dorms and the main floor of the Williams Center. The phones in your rooms may not be used while you are at the camp.
* Health Care: Should you need hospital care, you will be taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY. PLEASE BRING YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE CARD.
* If you have brought medication with you, and are not comfortable taking it yourself, please talk to the head counselor.
* Campus Book Store: The bookstore is located in University Commons and will be open 9-4 weekdays. Some toiletry and food items are available here.
* Lost meal cards and keys: there will be a charge for replacement.
* There is a $500 fee for falsely pulling the fire alarm, or using the fire extinguisher.
Meals
Meals will be served in one of our campus dining facilities, and camp meal planning is supervised by the
Faculty Student Association. Marketplace at Erie is an all-u-care to eat
dining facility that offers campers a variety of choices including vegetarian
and vegan choices. Commuting students may eat in the dining hall by paying
for the 17-meal package or purchasing individual meals. Commuters are encouraged to participate in all the camp social activities, as well.

Children (5-12) - $7.00

*If you are commuting and plan to eat in the dining halls, please indicate which meals you anticipate having on campus on your
Application Form so we can plan accordingly. Commuters are encouraged to participate in all social activities.
Saturday Farewell Brunch
Students are encouraged to invite their family members to the Farewell Brunch.
You are encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid lines, but tickets may be purchased at the door on Saturday morning.
