Private LessonsPrivate lessons are offered in most instruments and in voice. The recommended age for beginning private study for instrumentalists is age 9 – 10; pianists age 5; violinists age 7 - 8; and vocalists age 12. Musical Journey Program instructors are SUNY Fredonia School of Music students. In addition, some members of the SUNY Fredonia School of Music faculty and professional instructors also offer lessons. Lessons are available weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Each semester includes instruction of 10 lessons, a recital and master class.
