The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is tucked in the second floor corridor of Thompson Hall, between the Media Center and the School of Education (E230 Thompson Hall).
The choice of an academic building versus an administrative building was a conscious one - faculty had to feel free and comfortable to come to the office, sit a spell and talk freely of their scholarly and creative endeavors. This location seems to have fostered that type of contact.
A wide range of services are available from the OSP. From funding searches to assistance in proposal development to budgets to campus approvals, typing/word processing services, duplication and submission and administrative support - the office strives to be of assistance to faculty/staff in the widest range of activities. A hub of information and activity, the OSP is typified by a willing staff with a propensity to never say no.
