Italian immigration into the Dunkirk/Fredonia region in the time period of 1910-1920, not only included the adults but the children. This brought up the issue of education and more importantly intigration into the regions school districts. along with the schooling itself it brought up issues of taxes, language,and ethnicity of the teachers. Also the location of the schools in the towns corresponded with where the parents and the children worked, and what they did.
