Rail Lines were the main sources of mass transportation.  There was an hint of romance and excitement as passengers
traveled by train.  This was especially true of immigrants seeing the United States for the first time.  These are images from
different part of the New York country side in and around the era when Italian Immigrants were coming into the Fredonia
and Dunkirk areas.

Just as this powerful engine chugged around the bend with its loadful of passengers,
many Italian Immigrants turned the corner and headed straight ahead for a new life in NY.
